4. Who would be the audience for your media product?
The target audience for my is the older generation aged 30 to 40 because people that age would have been teenagers during the 80's which is when the music genre is based.
during this age males may encounter such periods as mid-life crisis's in which case this audience may feel slightly insecure, therefore they may be more willing to buy a magazine which will help them to reminice and make them feel more confident, this will fit in with the fourth step of maslows heirachy of needs, rendering it more important than disposable luxuries.
The target audience is are also those of whom fit into a key demographic of B meaning that they have disposable income to spend on luxury items such as magazines, which once again will persuade the audience to buy this as opposed to another magazine.
